C cal Car ph2 172 May 8, 2010 #1 Can the hub nut cause any problems if overtightened? I haven't got a torque wrench, so just tightened with a metal bar as much as it would go wil this be ok? someone told me this can damage wheel bearing? Cheers

C Cooksport Car Cooksport Fleet May 8, 2010 #4 If the bearing is fucked u will usually feel it through the steering when braking or load is on the wheel. It can sometimes make a noise too. Just get it torqued, halfords sell them.
