IE problem, im as stuck as a stuck thing

start my laptop up it wont load pages in IE just says cannot find server.
but it will load up steam and outlook and they work ok.
i thort it was my firewall so i turned it off, nothing
i thort it was IE so i got firefox and thats the same.

im thinking the port isnt enabled or something. anyone know about these things.

Could be port 80 is blocked by your ISP but I doubt it. Are you running any proxies? Have you doubled checked your firewall?

Can you ping any websites? Check your proxy settings as well as your DNS.
