Impressed with the results of EGP (inc. pics)

Jain gave her Vee a bit of polishing love, the night before FCS. Not that it mattered by the time we got down there as it was full of crap again!

Anyways, I've been indifferent to how EGP is on my car. It looked good on black gold, but never that good imo.

With not a great deal of effort tbh, the blue Sonus pad buffed up the dry EGP a proper treat...

I think I've been a little too quick to judge EGP in the past. I think I'll give it another go on mine.

Looks good.

I think EGP looks great on Black Gold, though can mute the small metallic flakes a touch. As everything a wax or sealant adds very little in the scheme of things. Main looks are in the polishing.

A tad less Orange peel than the Renault finish, but it is pre waterbased paint still. Finishes on the french stuff is much of a muchness! lol

Que the slaggin...But EGP is rubbish!

jain's Vee did look good, but the depth to Peter's was unreal! then again it was only polished 2 days before!

i really think EGP dulls the paint!

Seal doesn't give the depth dear boy! Rich's car was polished to an inch of it's life.

I just found it dulled the paint.

ROFL! I do think that black gold it cursed from the outset though. I thought I did a good job in polishing it the last time, until I opened up the driver's door and saw the black gold door pillar inside.

The difference was amazing. It looked really, really well on the pillar - clearly being protected from all the elements and sun on the outside.

Felt great again once I closed the door...... honest. :dapprove:

My pearl black needs another polishing, just literally can't be bothered though, just seems like a never ending task of cleaning, polishing, sealing and waxing...in a way looking forward to selling it and getting a company car I won't care for as much as I don't have the time like I used to any more.

Yes Ali totally agree, love it once you have cleaned it but lasts about an hour or so! Also, just tried cleaning my caron sunday and not sure why but left loads of water marks on the roof which will have to be polished off, which means relayering all over again!!!

First week I had the car I gave it a quick coat of SRP & EGP. Came up surprisingly well, concealed the majority of swirls pretty well!

Very glossy, but not a very deep shine...

It will come in time though
