  Clio MK2 ph3 1.6

What engine is it?

Assuming you mean mk2 phase 2? Phase 3 didn't come out till 06 did it? The one with the wierd boot lid?

Bit of an update/research, found an old thread on here via Google of the kit too buy for my model, just don't know what one too buy. Photos and a video of noise results although I won't be driving it how he does

The changes in Ph on the Mk2 where body and interior related. They won't have changed the induction setup on the k4m so you are looking for any setup that claims to fit a Mk2 1.6 16v

You could even just measure the oval and buy a section of silicone hose a couple of jubilee clips and a generic air filter.

I looked into buying a bit of hose for the oval bit but it's 115mm so was quite expensive, see how cheap a kit I can get

Going too bump an update, took some stuff apart today and as well as having the main air inlet which Is 85mm there is another small air intake which I'm guessing too cool the oil as there was residue around it, how do I get around this if I bought a silicone hose too go straight onto the block

Which did you go for, think it would look silly with a small cone filter and and surely a catch can would be ratlling around all the time which would be equally annoying

Decided not too buy a kit and do it with silicone pipes now, and I can get a t piece too solve the other inlet issue . And I can do it all in blue piping which I would prefer

Installed breather for crank pressure thanks to @MonkeyKnifeFight for this solution

Then put the jigsaw together

Happy with noise and look results, no noticeable power difference but this Is just a project too clean up the engine bay.

Comments welcome
