Ipod Touch Jail breaking and mail apps etc

Ok so i have tried alot of things. ziphone jail break of 1.1.4 and downgrade to 1.1.1 and 1.1.2. the sources i need for okto prep and mail.apps i just cant seem to get....

all iwant on my 16g ipod touch, is mail, maps etc....

some one help me!!!


i have cyberduck and i have the mailapps....... which directory do they need to go in.

Just restore in iTunes,close iTunes but dont eject your iPod, then run the Ziphone jailbreak. Then your iPod will restart and open again in iTunes, again close iTunes but don't eject.
When I've doing stuff on my iPod it seemed that I could only install things when iTunes was closed, don't know why.

Then install these via the installer on your iPod...

-Sources>Big Boss Repo
-BSD Subsystem
-BSD Subsystem 2.0 Termfix

-iPhone 1.1.4 apps

If you have the new installer you can use the search at the top if you can't find things.
1.1.4 apps will have maps,mail,stocks ect.
Pretty sure thats all you need to do,ive not done it for ages.Think thats the easiest way to do it IMO.

i dont have 1.1.4 apps.....i have 1.1.4 tweaks....no mail app in there

Have you got the newest version of Ziphone?
When it freeze's up are you sure iTunes is closed?

Edit: You need to install community sources not the big boss one, well may as well install both so you'll get more apps to choose from.

I did all my jailbreaking with the touch, no pc needed from guides off you tube.

V2 will have a nominal fee because of a lawsuit that took place in the US regarding accounting practices...

Edit: Only on the touch, the iPhone will get V2 for free because it's a subscription based model.

My iphone is jailbreaked and unlocked have tonnes of apps all of which i think are available on the touch...word of warning though, I wouldnt use ziphone, after a lot of research i found that it has some nasty little bugs in it my iphone was done with ziphone and it slaughtered the battery so I restored then unlocked with a program call iliberty or some think like that, can be found on a web site called hackintosh, well worth a look!
