R35 GTR
Renault have told me that an overpressure in the oil pump caused it to blow out the fuel filter and some seals or something, basically dumping all of my oil while i was driving.
I smelled alot of burning and there was smoke as i stopped, plus i heard faint sounds of grinding.
Renault say it will be fixed by friday, will they be able to check if it is damaged or will it be driveable, and not noticeable for a while?
Update:just found out that they are going to fix the above parts, then switch it on before they know if any damage has been caused.
Should i be asking for other parts to be changed as well, as with no oil there would definitely be high wear on some components that would shorten their life in the long run.
