IS250 paint correction.. wont drive through a car wash again after seeing this ;)

Done a paint correction on my dads is250 the other week so thought id share the photos with yous.. im not going into to much detail of what i did/used but il give you a rough idea .

products:
dodo juice products used- tar remover, traffic film remover, clay lube, clay bar, sheep skin wash mit
gtechniq products used- g-wash shampoo, P1 polish, P2 polish, cutting wool pad, medium pad, finishing pad, backing plate

various brushes etc were used aswell.

My dad was pretty lazy with this car so all he ever did was drive it through car washes and it really shows in the state of the paint! il let the pics do the talking.. various photos from around the car.

the car is atleast 75% better than when i started . the paint was so flat dull and lifeless! and yes the swirls/scratches in this paint were horrific to say the least.

this was washed again with gtechniq g wash

poor boys black hole glaze was applied

then 2 coats of poor boys wax

gtechniq T1 tyre gel
wheels were sealed with poor boys wheel sealant

haha i know he does... took me 3 and a half days in total.

Gally.. I know what you mean about the soft paint...just taking the residue polish off with a microfiber that i used for 1 maybe 2 panels started to mark the paint so i had to start that panel again and use one brand new microfiber for each panel haha paid off in the end but IMO the paint is to soft..id rather a paint thats a weee bit harder so it doesnt mark so easy!

If I may? Keep the amount of polish you're putting on the pads in check. That's a lot of spatter, even for wool.
