Its a Renault Record!!!

After fixing my sunroof for the second time a week and a half ago its now back to making exactly the same creaking and clicking noises! I need advice now guys what can I do about this because its really starting to piss me off. As soon as I open it it starts rattling then when its closed it sounds like im on an old wooden boat!

Renault havent actually replaced the sunroof yet they just seem to tighten it up which obviously isnt working, should I demand they replace the whols thing as there is clearly a fault with this one

Whats the email adress for that guy in Whatcar (i think) who sorts out problems with manufacturers?

Sympathise with you mate. Having the same problem with my 2003 1.6 dyn! However, my dealer is going to order a new sunroof frame ..... so keepin my fingers crossed . BTW is your sunroof manual or electric. Mine is electric.

Mine is back in on friday to get what ever is loose behind my dash sorted once and for all and also to get whatever this clunking noise is sorted.

its a manual one, my friend who also has a 2003 dynamique doesnt open his as he doesnt want it to start rattling, that in my eyes defeats the object of having it! Renault really need to sort these bloody sunroofs out!

To be honest the only Clio Ive never had sunroof problems is the 172 ..... the reason is therefore obvious .... no sunroof!! Ive had 6 Clios in the past with sunroofs and all of them apart from one (an 1999 1.6 RXE) had the odd creak here an there. My latest 1.6 takes the biscuit though! I dont understand why Reno insist that you you should have a sunroof if you have the climate option. It never gets used ...... and CREAKS!!! The old wooden ship analogy is spot on mate. BTW Bbong does your steering wheel creak too? .... the ships wheel!

Yeah I did wonder about that, why would you want a sunroof if you have climate control, it always did seem a bit silly
