I never thought i would but ive just bought a french car and my first drive home was over the cat and fiddle
I was concerned that i was buying french but by the time i got home i was impressed and now i think im falling for it.
i wish i knew if all the noises it makes are usual for a low millage car, theres a whine from the front drivers side and a noise coming from the gearlever which sounds like blowing air which i assume is just transmition noise. i only notice them when the radio is off and im listening carefully, it also comes with a couple of rattles but is not as bad as i thought
its due new tyres as the fronts are very nearly illegal with slightly uneven wear (more wear on the outside edge) is this normal? and am i right in thinking the michelin exhaltos are the best suited as a replacement?
ive heard verying reports on the cup (some scare mongering) am i right in thinking they are fairly fogiving if you drive smothly, but it will bite if you drive erratically?
are their any good garages in cheshire that will take care of it?
