JDM Y0 - Part 2! New Project - DC5 content :)

So for those that havent seen my other thread, this is what happened to my 30th Anniversary -

Little accident in Germany meant a Cat C write off

I then went out and bought a JDM EP3 Type r. Was like this -

Some guy pulled out of me, and it resulted in this -

Had a nightmare with insurance, was pending my fault, so in the meantime all i could afford to insure that was decent was this ST3, so ive been rolling around in the below for the past few months -

Finally they decided it wasn't my fault and gave me my NCB back.

Which means I've just brought this home

Mods on it currently

DC sports 4-2-1
Braided lines all round
FN2 alloys with RE050'S (might change back to standard rims)
Lowered on eibach springs
Fujitsubo cat back exhaust


Gruppe M on its way

Its such an amazing handling car, compared to the ep3. So much more planted, driving position is so much better!

Mmmmmm nice, I was looking at them before the Subaru but the insurance was ridiculous. Re the wheels, aren't they meant to be fairly heavier than the oem dc5 wheels? I'm sure I read that somewhere.

I'm not overly sold on the wheels, I think I prefer OEM, but they will do for now

Getting used to revving to 9k is weird again!!!

Watch out for German's and "Puller Outer's" whilst you're holding onto the wheel as tight as possible at 8.5k
