although i did see a 172 cup with bent wheels no rolling action looks like hit a curb and bent all the suspension up!

I was advised that mine needed doing when I took it in for something at Coulsdon Renault, it was all free and they do some kinda service/safety/health check aswell. Always been pretty good there.

got my letter last month after the last owner failed to mention he had recived the letter but never bothered to get it done so got mine done, i got a brand new catch and my car washed for free considering mine is a mk2 ph1 on an S' reg i was rather impressed

for the sake of it lou, Its free so i would just go and get it done, Only takes 10 mins Two bolts and a quick alignment jobs a good un. But it takes another 20 mins for the health check thing FOC so its allll good

had my clio around 7/8 months now, no letter, had it in for cambelts last weekend and the bloke said they had replaced my bonnet catch with a brand new one for free "under warrentry" so i wont moan

had to collect one of these (Recorded Delivery) from the PO this morning - thought it was either either going to be a NIP or a paranoid Valentines

reading it, it says that Renault recommend using penetrating oil and silicone grease to lube the mech, whereas i'd been using white grease. mentioning paranoia again, does anyone know if that's 'critical'?

I will bob in and get it check- my mech isn't rusted or hard to open though so it's either been changed or I've been lucky. It opens up though, not towards me, so doubt it's been changed

Mine went in last week. They give you a free 25 point safety check, wish they had'nt bothered

When i went to pick it up i was given like a tick sheet and the woman went through all the things that needed work. Everything she mentioned seemed pricey! Well lucky for me it was booked in for a service the next day, so i had most of the major problems sorted at a cost of 450 quid . (not at a renault dealer)

I did laugh at one of the faults they found. It said that only one of the fog lights at the back was working? The car only has one fog light at the back, even i know that:rasp:!!

I must say that the staff at the Renault in Chester were very friendly and helpfull, the showroom was nice aswell. And they did give me a shiny new bonnet catch.

I'm getting mine looked at tomorrow. It's pretty rusty.

They didn't bother to do the free 25 point safety check when I took my old 1.2 in for the catch check a while ago. Let's see if they'll do one tomorrow.
