K-Tec Turbo Conversion

Whoz driving one of these little beasties ? (As a normal first car) Whats it like to live with day to day ? Have you had any problems with it ? If i take the plunge i'm going to build it myself, has anyone done one of these conversions ? Does it go together ok is EVERYTHING there,or did you end up spending on misc bits and bobs to finish it off properly ?

Any GENUINE knowledge greatly appreachiated.

I have a 182 turbo for sale, a hel of alot cheaper than it would cost to get a conversion. It is my daily driver, and i use it every day as I am lazy. All the problems if there were any with mine have been eliminated.

Only problem I guess is resisting the urge to race everyone.

Kinda spoils the fun a bit buying one ! Having said that i bet half way through doing it i'd wish i'd bit your arm off !
How long has it been on the car, how many miles ? Is it a K Tec conversion ?

not a ktec conversion, was done by bb performance tuning. A much nicer conversion in my opinion as the engine bay looks pretty cool. It was done before I bought the car, about a year ago. Still running strong on the same gearbox, but with an organic clutch.

You will need to modify pistons and change headgasket to a thicker one to reduce compression ratio i think.

0-60 in 5 seconds easily, 1/4 mile should be around 13 seconds i think. I am stripping mine out for my runs at FCS so we wil see.
