So finially In is the parts from PureMotorsport :smiley:

As some may have guess the PMS ITB kit was amongst the parcels :cool: fitted with 330cc injectors and the throttle cable conversion kit.

I ordered another PMS coil pack bracket as I sent the new one too@Christopher. when he brought my RS2 as my old one had snapped.

So yeah the plan is cam and ITB now but I’m looking for away to make it different to the normal ITB engines out there tho.

Oh I had to put the ITB on loose for look tonight too.

Had poke around the engine today and found a an oil leak at the back of the head.
Manifold studs are wet in oil, fresh oil sitting on the manifold flange and the back of the block is wet too.
Probably will orders gasket set and change the top end for peace of mind, feel another order from Puremotorsport coming on 😂 so easy ordering from Nick.

Collected my engine crane today. Not the best time with the snow but only day I had free to get it.

As the weather is meant to be nice this week I’ve pushed the CUP out the garage to try and make some progress on it and organising the garage.

Looking forward to seeing the progress with the itb’s! Do you still run the stock oil pressure sender/switch? I fitted my braided take off and there’s not enough wire on the plug for the stock one to reach to put it back in.

Yeah stock oil pressure switch. You can unpick the loom and move the plug/wire pretty much anywhere you like upto the alternator. Mines pcliped upto the thermostat housing.

How do you get on without blowers inside mate? Ive got mine looped like yours but regret doing it now with the state of the windscreen on a cold day cant see a thing.

Tbh I haven’t done a wet/damp track day in it yet. I’ve done a cold frosty morning which was fine. I don’t use it on the road at all, I do dread to think of the day I have a wet track day as I’m plastic windows too and don’t have a roof scoop or air feeds into the cabin lol

Is yours really bad? I do have a t7 heater bolted in but not wired up lol

Thanks, started to unpick it but it’s so fiddly. Gonna do ac delete at same time I think. Have you got the sender for the gauge mounted on the thermostat housing too?

Yeah I do actually. I’ll try and find a better picture for you to see.

Finially had half hour to split the gearbox and engine.

Gearbox, clutch and flywheel off.

With it on the stand I started to look abit closer at a few things I was worried about.

Crank seak leaking maybe.

Probably need to look at ordering more from Renault like head gasket and crank seal or bottom end gaskets maybe

what sort of power are you after with TB and cams?

I haven’t really look at what figures it’ll make 200 maybe?
Tbh I don’t really care. As long as it’s mapped well and great fun to drive and takes abuse that’s all that matters to me really. I’ve built it to be battered at track days and maybe race next year so As long as it don’t break every track day I’ll be happy.
