Hi everybody, i´m a huge fan of clios, participate in a forum here in portugal, for a long time (www.clioteam.com), and recently created a Renault sport fan forum too (www.Renaultsportportugal.ptforuns.com/).

Had a clio 1.9d (F8Q) for 9 years was my pride and joy. Last few years was just siting in the garage so i upgraded to a big gas spender, and ride a bike to work so...

This was my first clio

Finaly got time to take a few pictures, nothing too fancy. Just enought to introduce to you my baby. A Clio mk2 ph2 172.
This is my pocket rocket.

Bought it earlier this year, i´ve had good and bad memories, but only the good ones prevail.

List of changees so far:
-magnacor ignition leads 8.5mm
-Gr. N engine mounts (K-tec)
-Full exhaust 182
-4 Brake discs K-tec (carbon lorain and K-tec braided lines)
-Air box from Space V6-
-Ecu mapping from RS tunner
-Front upper brace (sparco or OMP)??
-K-tec whiteline rear bar kit
-Koni Sport suspention (fr/b)
-16" wheels 182
-Oil catch-can
-Powerflex kit
-RS stamped manifold ported and polished

Can´t remenber anything else

In the pictures is ont yet color matched but i´ll soon take new pictures.
Now i have the same problem has i´ve seen here many times, the shorter boot struts.

Plug n play yes but your not likely to see much if any improvement over the standard setup.

hi mate, with your phase 1 1.9, did the 172 lights come with it? or did you fit them? I've bought a set but the sockets seem totally different for the bulbs to the standard set?

Yes the lights came with it, but i know for a fact that these use H3 bulb and the others use H4, completely diferent bulb and wiring.

I think that due to the Rs tunner file, my pinking sensor is damage or maybe i have injector problems.
Started to solve the problem with the cheapest way, ordered the sensor.
Once i have tried i´ll let you know.
I have read other had the same problem, never new how they solved it.

Just solved the boot struts problem, what do you think? Like a glove right?
Bought one originaly from a transporter T5, bonnet has 390mm

Mores news.
Fitted the 182 seats, with regulations on both seats

Original steering wheel

Cruise control and aiming to instal ESP

knock sensor instaled no result to my problems, next stop injectors.

Actually when the car was running didn´t notice nothing major, maybe now pulls better at higher revs but i only noticed when i connected to the computer.
