im not a fan so far, prefer the old one
Found a way to change this yet? Probably the only thing I don't like now. Battery is MUCH better on mine.Mine has just updated. So far so good. Although one little thing I don't like, the app tray now has a white background, rather than being transparent like before? Had a look in the settings but can't see anything? Take it there's no way of changing it 😧
Might reinstall nova launcher and see what I can do with that
Nova launcher is the only way I think mate.Found a way to change this yet? Probably the only thing I don't like now. Battery is MUCH better on mine.
Apparently you can change the icon DPI through adb without root or extra apps. Gets rid of the horrible large icons
The what now? LolAndroid Debug Bridge
I would love to keep my Nexus 7 rooter but the lack of Sky Go always gets the better of me and I end up unrooting againI did a fresh install on my Nexus 5 & 7, no big deal and certainly beats the 'check for system update' button game! Give it a go.
Also, if you have your bootloader unlocked, the new method for rooting on Lollipop is a breeze. Was rooted in under a minute! I believe changing the DPI via root method, rather than ADB, is a bit more robust. The DPI thing doesn't bother me as much dodgy app icon design does, but I do root to run Adaway - can't stand ads!
I don't get it and I don't really like it.
There is no simple way just to mute my phone as there was before. If I set my phone to 'priority' then this still allows the camera to make noises, whatsapp currently still bypasses it as well and it also disable the vibrate function which means I miss calls and texts.
For some the priority mode may be useful but for me it is unnecessarily complicated and doesn't seem to work for what I need it for.
Jan - Feb I believe. When is this released on the HTC One? Checked my phone and there's no update yet
Not for me ? Drag the top down and its there....One thing I've noticed is that you can no longer share a screen shot from the notification panel at the top. You not have to open the screen shot now and share from there.
Not a big issue, just going backwards a bit instead of forward.
Go into the settings in chrome, and turn off "merge tabs and apps"One thing I don't get is where the tabs went in chrome. I can't seem to see my tabs or have any idea if more than one is open..
I guess I'm missing something glaringly obvious......?
My Mrs is having the same issues on her N5.Well, after a full reset my phone functioned fine for a day or two.
Now it's constantly falling over. Chrome is unusable. Even after I uninstalled chrome updates it's the same. Load a page up, as soon as I put my finger on the screen it closes.
Facebook is the same.
Play music is hit and miss.
Flickr and Instagram seem alright at the moment and some of the games seem OK.
I'm just hoping there's an update due soon.
I've tried turning off Google Now and it's no different /after searching this seemed to work for some people)
The ONLY issue I've had since updating my Nexus 5 is that whenever I unlock I'm faced with the dial screen regardless of it being either open or the last app accessed before locking.
Annoying!
You are swiping the centre padlock upwards aren't you?
how do you put it on silent ?Got it on my N4.
Hate that it has no easy way of turning it on silent. What's that all about? Bizarre.
