Manchester detailing? Anyone? :)

Wow, and here's me thinking all I need to buy is a machine polisher and go crazy! No!

Just read Gally's sticky thread on 'DA polishing' and I'm confuzzled.

Therefore two 2 questions:

1) What would a complete rookie like me need as a beginners kit to do a proper machine polish/clay bar treatment?

2) Even better - Who in the Manchester area would be willing to do my car for some ££££? I rang up the guy at RS Paint correction in bury and he's busy for a month and probably longer!

No its a walk in shop with a detailing bay where Steve@ Mirror Finish also operates. They have a paid course on today so probably not the best of days.
