megane 225 engine in a cup 172?

Been thinking of ways to get more bhp out my cup for a while and every thing seems so expensive for little bhp?.and 4000 for turbo what could buy me a new car. So been thinking would a 225 megane engine fit in a 172 cup? Any one tried it?

With work. you need the gearbox too.

OR do a head transplant. Do a search, a few people have tried various things.

A few different ways of doing it. You're still looking at thousands though. If you're trying to tune on the cheap then a 225 engine isn't the way to go.

As above and a head transplant on it's own is pretty pointless when you already have a full 172 engine, may as well just fit some megane pistons if you want cheap, or forged if you want good.

Well have a read of a few turbo build threads and FAQ's and see what you think, I've you don't really know much about 'tuning' then an engine or turbo conversion may be way over your head.
