Milltek exhaust MASSIVE flat spot!

  Clio 197
Had my milltek non resonated cat back exhaust fitted today on my 197 and I read there was going to be a more noticeable flat spot but it's actually awful. At 2500rpm there is basically no power which makes it horrible to drive. It's already been remapped because I didn't know I was going to get an exhaust after. So is the remap that's on the car completely unsuitable for the new exhaust? Because the flat spot is actually dreadful :(

What shall I do? Take it back to where I got it remapped (a local remapping centre called radical remaps in Exeter) and ask them to remap it again with the exhaust or take it to somewhere like ktec and pay more for a better remap? Would a ktec or similar place be worth spending the extra money for a decent map? Need this flat spot to vanish!

Cheers, Shane.

You have to know what your doing to get rid of the flat spot on the mapping. As far as I'm aware radical remaps only do generic maps which won't be any good. I can do a custom map for £250 including engine health check.

You'll want to do a bit of research on ktecs mapping on here.

As above, go to a specialist, not just a generic local mapper. And as much as Ktec are hily rated on their mail order etc, their mapping isn't highly rated on here.
