That tt pic is great Laura, looks black, shame it's green.

i love the olive green. it was the colour i wanted from day 1.

put new sound deadening in because it would be silly noisy in there without it. and the carpet would be baggy without it. New stuff weighs about 10% of the old stuff.
but im not overly bothered about weight saving, very light car anyway... i can pick it up by myself atm...

good work! how come you put new sound deadenin in? i wouldnt have bothered

agree I wouldnt have bothered with new sound deadening but each to their own.

Is it just me though or does the black paint look really patchy in the last interior shot?

whagt I'm seeing is not dust on the lens... I can see the dust as well though.

I mean the grey patches all over where you have painted black. Under hand brake, behind gear stick, to the left of the clutch etc.

nope all one soild caolur, i got laughed at as i was taking so much effort to get it 100% perfect even tho youll never see it.

if you look at the black door card that also looks patchy ... but its a solid black door card.

as said even if it were what does it matter, it will be sprayed with the shell and then have carpet over the top.

the aim of this car is not a show car nor a track car, its going to be a daily so all sound deadening and trim will be updated and replaced.

it should look almost standard when its done to the untrained eye with lots of special bits here n there :D

Cant wait to see this finished!
I am seriously thinking about doin a similar retro project :)

im lucky to have a workshop else it would be nigh on impossible to carry out a full project like this in this wether

i like the new sound deadaning. It's a nice touch and won't add much to the weight for the difference it will make on long drives to shows n stuff.

I really think this kind of thing should be allowed in the projects section. Don't see why it needs to be limited to clios.

both rear window frames has rist on them

You shouldn't filler over pitted rust, you'll regret it if you're planning on keeping it hun.
