mk1 Sunroof

Soz this question has probably bin asked a million times, but i bought my mk1 1.4rt 1997 and the leccy sunroof didnt work, and its really starting to bother me now!!

any1 had this problem as i think its quite common n how can i fix it??would it just be the motor?? how do i take the console with the r/c/l n interior light off??

sorry to be vague but i dont av a clue bout car electronics

Switch operated?

Try a different switch first.

Only way you'll know is to have a look really. Obviously the switch is suspect, so swap it with another from another car and try it. If that doesn't work check there's power going to the motor. If there is, then i'd guess the motor is fooked.

I just replaced the motor, got one s/hand for abot a fiver, took about 10mins to change.

Thease guys are right though, try the switch first.
