Modified Trophy Sachs dampers with custom springs on a track car??..

Basically I want to know if I am wasting my time fitting a set of Trophy Sachs dampers to my track car that will weigh around 850-870kgs. If I do they will be unpinned and eventually Koni adjustables on the back along with custom Faulkner springs rated to the weight of the car. The car is a ph1 172 so I will need to mill out the mounting holes to slots to suit the 54mm hub spacing. I will also mill the top holes to give me more camber adjustment.

Out of their comfort zone or within their capabilities?
