Pulled it out today to clean the brakes up before I take it for an MOT this week

Safe to say those PBS Pro-Race have seen better days. 3 years, 1 trackday and 10k of hard miles

Good job I have a car parts problem like a weird fat, shaved magpie

Used my new grips, mega

Drivers side was caked in CV grease, an easy fix. That jubilee is actually from a 36l 16 cylinder Perkins generator, blue to match the car an tha innit

The battery has been mega w**k recently too. I swapped it out for one @leeds2592 gave me about 18 months ago😂😂 The big battery I bought more than 6 years ago because it was on my old dCi from page 1

20220404_152809.jpg

Dug out my very very very expensive dinner plates too

20220404_141332.jpg

I removed the stud and nuts from the rear, I thought I had some new 68mm ones in the garage. Turns out that must have been some weird trippy dream about buying car parts again so I shoved some MK3 non sportwheel bolts in as they have a nice collar

I seriously need to get the wheels painted, they almost look photoshopped on😂

I grind the edges of any Clio pads to make sure they fit and wobble😂😂

They're a proper c**t. The PBS ones got lobbed at the bench grinder the first time round, took about 5mm off the c***s 😂

Don't need grinding with the shims removed I find.

The Winmax in mine do knock when going from forward and reverse as you brake with them removed though 😅

Hope you tightened them nuts this time.

I aim to do more this year. Ordered a f**k tonne of bits to sort some more things with the car. But I went in the garage earlier and started finding parts I forgot I'd bought and was like "oh f**k yeah, I forgot that needed fixing"😂

Its when you buy something and than find that you already bought that same thing a year ago but forgot.

I had the best intentions of being on track in 2020. I had 3 days booked, Caldwell, oulton and Blyton. But then that nasty cough cough thing put a stop to that and my Mrs went mad on what we need to do to the house😂

Not really had much time to work on this, was hoping to get the cage in by now

Only thing to report is that I had to swap tyres

Wicked camberzzzz y0

20220504_173411.jpg

Pulled my 2118's out and had the PS3's on the slipstreams chucked onto them. They're caked and crusted in brake dust, like more caked than your mams face in hot ropes of cum sort of levels were talking here

20220505_160230.jpg

Washed it, the only time these will be white🤣

I'm not even sure how much camber is dialled on atm, looks like at least 2⁰🤣

Next week I really need to get the cage in, the house is getting there and she's given me free reign to just f**king blitz the car!🤤☺️😍

Cage, harnesses, battery behind the passenger seat, diff'd box, TTV flywheel, new clutch, oil + filter change, RC hubs, top mount bearings, new camber bolts, Brembos, 197 MC, PMS shifter, new discs, make a splitter+undertray and probably about 10 other smaller things like polishing the headlights for a f**king start

Looks so good on the 2118s!

Need to decide on a colour to paint the slipstreams with as I might use them for track rubber. Have a set of TD 1.2's but they're made of spit and cheese and one of them has about 2kg of wheel weights on them

Stick with the 2118’s Kyle, but get them refurbished in a different colour. I recon a dark bronze would look ok or gunmetal grey. run something lighter like 1.2’s on track in a big gay colour

I wanted to have the 2118s painted but bald NS2Rs made me switch. The slipstreams are stupidly light. I can pick 2 up with 1 hand, they're like 5kg each or something stupid🤣

9.5kg each for a 2118🤣

With me not having PAS I've realised how much a set of tyres affects how it drives at low speeds. So much easier to razz it about, 320 treadwear on the PS3's as opposed to the 180 of an NS2R. They're already 5 years old and have done loads of miles on the slipstreams, I picked them up when I still had my first 172🤣🤣
