Monaco On Monzas

Washed, polished and waxed my 172 today and thought I'd try on some Team Dynamic Monzas that I had bought. They're 16 inch.

Wasn't too sure to start with, but they have grown on me now. Make a change anyway.

Think some Eibachs will be purchased in the not so distant future.

Sorry the pics are a bit dark, comments welcome.

If a mod wanted to make pics part of the thread that would be good.

Looks nice, lower and it will be sorted. Much nicer than standards, I had a set on my old ZS.

If it had REnualt centre carps it would look good, similar to the Vee's wheels

Edit. Lauren beat me to it :(

There you good bud.

I think you need some better pics to justify them. But it looks a nice car!

Sam!

I didn't expect to like them as much as i do, still undecided which I prefer these or standard. Just never seen them on a 172 before so thought it was worth a try, and 10 quid for the required spiggot rings.

As for the centre caps i like the old style pins, couldn't really fit a Reno badge on them.

Yeh pics arnt too good, it was just getting dark and was difficult without tripod. Could do with being on level ground aswell, it does look high.

Whats the difference between Eibach sport lines, and prolines?

I think I prefer the standard wheels, but originals havn't got a mark on them so these can maybe be my winter wheels. 2 contisports on the front and toyo's on the back, all new so might aswell get some use out of them.

Thanks for the comments.

Sportlines lower slightly more than pro's, but i think Pro's are better for track use. iirc

however I have sports on mine and am really pleased with them, much improved handling, i think the majority of people on here go for the sports.

It will be getting hit with that very stick soon.

Is it a fairly straight forward DIY job to change the springs, I know in theory it is but when I came to do it on my punto several bolts had siezed and had to be heated to get off. Anyone had similar problems with a 172?
