610? it's amazing that sort of power can come from a 2litre, but surely that's barely drivable
whats the main limitation fred? or is it an accumulation of factors?

I built this a while back
spec list was massive, but the jist of it was high compression, headwork and cams, fine tollerence balancing and throttle bodies with extra long trumpets.
spent days measuring every single clearance imaginable on the bottom end alone
id guess £10k+
Nothing currentlyWhat's the burpspeed car running?
Ahh right yeah I remember seeing the vid of that race, I recall a lot of smoke lolLol
had a 90k stock engine in it for 2 seasons, finaly cried enough at Oulton recently
the gearbox will give up before then engine
id guess £10k+
There have been 280bhp F4R n/a engines. Videos on you tube of one. Injectors going directly down the trumpets of the throttle bodies and a set of injectors in the usual place!
Stock is the way forward, I'd cry if I had just spent out 6k on a reasonable high comp spec only for it to go bang
It would go like stink granted but I decided against that years ago
