Bleed the brakes again today after having the braided lines,pads etc fitted a week ago or so.While the Wheels where off i decide to give them a proper clean,Alloy cleaner iron-x and bit of tar remover,then fresh sealed with alloy wax.

Yeah mate pretty much the same,did yours rust/rot from the inner part?.he said there was a foam of some sort inside that soaked up the water causing it to rust.Now it has all been cut out and waxed etc now and will drain properly.i will wax oil all the inside to,so happy its all done now ready for the summer!.
Will post the other photos when i get them of the fella who did the work,he showed me all the photos he took to record the process. @BaileyWolves

Yes mate the guy said it had completely gone gone the inner too so had to remove and replace all of it, glad I had it done tho instead of just a quick repair as it would of most certainly have come back. I bet ur pleased tho pal makes you feel so much better eh ? If your anything like me stuff like that really disturbs me ?

Yeah its made me love it more now,need to replace my bonnet now.Yep any little scracth,mark on the car bugs me,even if im the only one who knows its there.Proper day tomorrow giving it a detail with a mate and few others at his work place @BaileyWolves

Thanks mate,Was really easy mate in the end with results straight away but,that was being at marks workshop having use of the airline with polisher and 3m cutting compound and pads,well happy with the result.

Thanks mate,i was actually looking at it today and thinking maybe dropping the rear a bit,but then i will prob get probs with the centre section catching.

Headlamps look brand new now pal?. Its always been a nice example of a cup, but with the rust repair and paint it's gotta be near perfect now. Usual bonnet dimple aside that is ?.

Thanks mate,yeah they came up really well.Just need to keep on top of them now.Haha yes the crappy bonnets!.prob just get a decent 2nd hand one off any clio and get it sprayed,prob be best option.Just need a pair of clubsports and to carpet the rear ?

Will have my Michelin Pilotsport 3 tyres up for sale soon if any interest.Set of 4 in 195/45/16 loads of tread left,will get proper advert up once i get new wheels.

Ive taken photos of the tyre depths using a 50p while still on the car to give people an idea of the depths,i cant find my depth gauge.Will place a proper advert when off the turinis next week.

For what you’d get for the tyres, I’d just keep them - it’s always handy having a few spare alloys with tyres in the garage.
