  182>FRS>VX220 now 350Z
Nice mate, looks like mine lol.

If anyones interested i have a set of GAZ coilovers for sale to fit a 182 :D

  Chocolate Bar™
looks awesome, altho not as good as mine will ;)

i'll have to come round and have a nose when i've got mine on.

absolute bargain for you as well it sounded like

What you going to do about tracking? It will probably be out now and you wont get a tracking arm on top of the tyre.

fred sed it shud just fit on (hopefully), but me mate runs a garage and race team anyway so if all else fails i will let him sort it

  Chocolate Bar™
couldnt they jack the car up (so space under arch) then drop it back down again and do the tracking?

surely it wouldnt catch the arch doing it that way as theres a bit of room.

  VRS
yeah im sure they will be able to do summut, think i need to practice me driving skills tho..... fred took it for a spin round his 'trak' (country lanes) and definately put it thru it paces lol :race:

Go somewhere decent that uses the hunter laser alignment kit and you'll find the equipment mounts to the face of your rim :)

  Chocolate Bar™
slightly off topic: do you need to have all 4 wheels tracked? or just the front 2?

  Lionel Richie
you have the front wheels aligned off the rears

i was slightly disapointed i had to raise it (angle grinder shed a tear because i didn't use him!!)

Handling was very good, and the ride was fine, dunno why people say the GAZ coilovers for the 182 are crap because they're not

  VRS
fred im still tempted to go lower tho
had a go over the speedbumps at work and rekon i cud go lower! he he he

Glad your happy fella, sorry i had to shoot off and leave you and Fred to finish.
As for the seats im sure Fred can sort you out with a pair ;)

Yeh i know, leeds 182 live just round the corner from me, but he wants £350 insurance want around £250 extra, and then fiting will be about £150.

Got a holiday to pay for so cant realy spend that much, wish i cud though

  VRS
gutted matey! btw fred fits them for around the 40 quid mark and imo did a far better and thorough job than any garage wud

I want to see how much lower the front is.

Park the car on flat ground, and put an object that is always the same size (e.g ci pack) under the splitter, then take a pic. That way i can compare it to mine lol

lol @ Fred.

racing182...Virtually the entire strut body is threaded so you can lower the front right to the ground if you want lol!

obviously you need to get the c amber done and tracking for good measure, but lets say you lift the suspension setting as per H&R every time you alter the ride height do you need to alter the tracking camber ???? or is it just that the Gaz are fixed ride height
