So far, Ive installed my CDFX7500 h/u and infinity 5002i speakers.

Im still working on my shelf with 6x9s, but Ive already installed the wiring for it.

Ive siliconed the rear of the speakers, to seal around them.

Ive also siliconed behind the grilles, so as to avoid rattles in the future.

is siliconing behind the grills proven to stop it rattling? As I was thinking either to do that or something like blu-tac to stop them shaking. They would need to be removeable incase something needs changing though

Siliconing behind the grilles will reduce any rattle/movement...

I had the F-7700, have you thought about getting a black surround for it rather than the silver. I ordered one from a CDx-MP40 and it lookded much better.

Paid £13 for one... and I didnt like it!

Ill stick with silver for now... and if I change my mood, Ive got another one....!
