Why does everyone on this forum get so bloody upset about an 8k rev limit?????????? it makes peak power at 8k so thats what its reved too

your engine makes peak power at the limiter? unless you have really wild cams the f4r engine peaks about 6.8k iirc. got graphs off my old 182 that show it. the extra rpm with re maps are for over reving for the next gear.

Trax sadly lol. I need to do a couple of bits to the clio before the next big day. I can't decide wether to turbo it or no. I'll got all the bits to turbo it or to hi-comp it. Im tempted with the hi option as i like the way the car drives NA. I also need to set up the suspention. By set up i mean chuck it all in the bin and start again! lol
