I have managed to score a new genuine 182 cup n/s driveshaft from a fb seller to replace my current one which is leaking gearbox oil from the inner gaiter.
I have changed a bunch of driveshafts before but never one this style.
I’m assuming it is:
Drop gearbox oil
Undo hub nut
Split hub ball joint and TRE,
Remove 3 bolts on inner gaiter
Pull the shaft.
And put it all together again.
Do I need any kind of sealant on the inner gaiter to gearbox joint?
What is the torque value for the hub nut?
Any other odd things I need to be aware of?
