I was running low on petrol and was miles away from the nearest 24h station so had to use my debit card at Asda - BIG MISTAKE!!
Car turned sluggish, my exhaust popping went and was not happy!!!
Jus filled up again with some better petrol and all is well!!!!
Asda petrol is w**k!
It was probably because you let it run so low that maybe some rubbish got drawn in from the bottom of the tank!
iv had problems with texaco too!!Quote: Originally posted by dogmaul on 22 September 2004

why do people always say this
CARS HAVE FUEL FILTERS!!
unless its not been changed since new and fallen apart a fuel filter will strain any crap that may or may not be in the bottom of a fuel tank out before it reaches the engine.
Same here. I used Texaco once and never again. Car ran very rough, and I spent the whole week stalling . Thought it was just me being crap, but it was a completely different car when i filled up again.Quote: Originally posted by dogmaul on 22 September 2004
