New Brakes

My new brakes arrived last week, got them fitted and bedded in now...

First impressions were of a slightly soft pedal, but now that they're bedded in, they're fantastic - plenty of bite, easy to modulate on heel-toe and pretty resistant to fade on a few runs up and down a nice mountain pass near Zurich.

Brembo HC discs at the front, OE rears, SS hoses, 5.1 fluid and DS Performance Pads :)

Only had time to get my exhaust fitted today so brakes will have to wait till next weekend. How much did it cost to get the brakes fitted?

I'm in Switzerland so it cost a bit more than it would back home - about 2.5 hours labour I guess.

i haven't seen those pads in a while, any good??

i hope you weren't sold those pads as "DS2500's" because the DS performance aren't part of the racing range

yeah, got them from K-tech, given that I probably won;t be going on track til next time I change them and they're said to be a fair bit better for road than something like a pagid or DS2500.

So far I'm pretty impressed, and will be trying them on the track next seaon just to see what they're like - quite a bit cheaper after all

K-Tec drilleds and ebc greenstuff pads, goodrich hoses - Good inprovement for me over standard. (I haven't yet been on track)
