good buy, i rang up about this last night but the chaps gf answered the phone and said he was showing someone round it, musy have been you!

Airbag light could be the pretentioner wires under the seats. The connectors give a bad resistance sometimes. There was a Renault fix (cut off plugs and solder lol). The lights will clear once the fault has, so need need to have a code reader on it or what not.

Well I just drove it home, went a414 from Hertford to Billericay as the m25 was snarled up and I'm glad I did what a hoot! Really encourages being thrown around, it's a bit wierd 4th to 5th, and I still think the gearbox has too much play but I've never driven one to compare it with, so much fun!

Got to do something with that steering wheel asap, ended up with black hands from the desolving rubber.

Spending the night in Winchester tomorrow so going to drive it down there.

Was surprised at insurance £430 and I'm not exactly young, elise is only £320 with trackdays!

its the lack of ABS i suspect that ups the insurance on the cups.

The car has BF Goodrich g- force sport tyres on the front, seem to have reasonable write ups and on the back some crappy make I've never heard of

They tend to get binned a lot, especially in winter....!

Yet another question, the car seems to sit quite a lot lower at the back than the front (clearance between tyre and wheel arch), is this normal or is something buggered?

They seem to settle that way over time. Some Eibach prolines re adresses the balance to nose down if need be?

I think the best thing is just give it to Mark Fish Motorsport who have been recommended on another thread and get them to address any issue's....... Eibach Prolines seem to be likely then. Here it starts, big bill on it's way i feel
