Noisy acceleration. Can someone check. AnyoneYeovil/Salisbury/Bmouth

When accelerating, my car seems noisy. Now it may be normal, as it's done it since I've had it. It sounds like quite a bit of induction roar, mixed with possible resonating. Nearly as loud as if you put a induction kit on a 1.1 saxo or similar.

So, I thought I'd check the engine mounts. Can anyone point them out or circle them as I'm no mechanic

or is there anyone in the Yeovil/Frome/Salisbury/Bournemouth area that can have a listen and tell me if it's normal??

I'd buy them a KFC!! :D

They are not quite std anyway mate, but worth just checking.

You can only see one engine mount in the pic.... square looking thing to the left of the round bobble near the 2lt badge. loosen the 4 nuts round it and shift appropiately. The other two underneath by the gearbox and down the right hand side engine bay, but usually only the 1st needs to be altered.

Other possibilities is that the Aux belt need changing soon.... they can be pretty noisy when old and also check its not the engine cover rattling off anything. Could take it off and go for a drive. Only 4 torx screws, although i doubt its that.

I have checked the air filter, lol, it has a standard paper one in.

It had a new aux belt about 500 miles ago, so not that.

I am just going to go out and check the mount mentioned.

It may be a normal noise, I'm not sure. I may go and test drive the 182 down the road at the Renault garage to compare lol.
