ouch that knocking would be my cv joints

5,000 miles old and my poor old 1.2 16v cv joints went

dont know whether it was me wheel spinning in front of the plods that were on foot patrol last night or the big hole in the road i hit at some stupid speed......

but its fecked, luckily only £35 for one from the scrappie and my mate said hell fit it for £20

has anyone else had trouble with there cv joints or driveshafts my cars lowered 60mm on 17s

Not be a warranty job, if you put you standarda alloys back on???

Doubt he would get a warranty job on a 60mm drop, the drop will put more strain on the suspension joints etc, and wont the driveshaft be going to the CV at the wrong angle due to the drop in height ?

panic over the wheels werent tightened up properly lucky they didnt fall off!

Yer mate my C.V joint is nearly gone too, Ive got 17s on 60 m drop.

I got told it wud cost bout £150 to fixed by some local garage,I got a big ractly kinda of niose when turning hard right, it seems to b getting worse , it needs fixing but jus aint got the money at the moment!!

Does any1 know eher i can get the part from for cheaper???
