Parcel shelf rattle

I seem to have aquired a parcel shelf rattle on y 182 recently. I've taken it out several times and tried to re-align it to no avail. What I'm wondering is there any sort of rubber stopper/bung meant to be on the shelf itself or where the shelf sits as I seem to recall something but there's nothing on mine anymore.

Also one of the strings on my shelf that attach it to the hatch is missing. Under the one that remains it had a sort of rubber bung that sits underneath the parcel shelf, does this double up as something which is meant to stop it rattle?

If you have some simple draught excluder...just put that on the lip where the shelf meets the plastic. Cheap, simple fix.

I did think of something along those lines, I just wondered if anything was missing tbh.
