Ph2 172 & 182 Airfilter the same?

As the title says, I have been searching for somebody who sells replacement filters in NL and they have one for the 172 and one for the 182. The 172 looks like a cone filter and the 182 looks more like the panel filter that I have.

My Dutch is shite so did not want to give them a call. P.S It is a Green filter.

Are they the same?

the mk1 172 (known as the RS1 in europe) is the cone type

the mk2 172/182 (RS2/3) is the panel type

On a side note, does it really make a difference to performance at all or is it just a placebo effect?

sounds better, maybe a 1-2bhp gain, nowt major, as you say, mainly placebo
