PHPBB: Disable Guest account?

Hiya,

I've got no idea how to disable the "guest" account on my PHPBB forum.

I've had a look at the PHPBB site, but the search function doesn't appear to be working.


I've got some automatic spamming going on, somehow it's being done automatically from what I gather.

I've banned the IP addresses, and removed the posts.


Still, I'd like to disable the "guest" function, so as to not have to bother anymore.

Go to your admin cp, then under forum admin, go to permissoins. Choose the forums and make sure that 'post' and 'reply' say 'reg' and not 'all'. Do that for all of them and it'll stop guests from spamming.
