Very nice! Though I'm still not 100% on the splitter/skirt thing...

What's that sticker on your rear window?

Cheers.

It's says something about winning the F1 in 2005 and 2006. I think you can buy them at the dealers but this one came with the car.

Just off the phone to reno there, they said theres no recall for my car and the ECU update is at the dealers discretion even tho i gave the above information??

Its booked in for this Tuesday coming to see if they can 'find' any 'faults'..kants!!

I was told by the chief technician at City Motors Bristol that you have to register a complaint with the dealer about the flat spot and kangaroo.

Only then will they do the update. This was their instructions from Renault UK.

i have a yozza de-cat system, so i take it in order to get the ECU update the car has got to be completely bog standard?

My car has been in before for them to look for ECU faults but they said there wasn't any, yet is still ridiculous on colds starts for the first 5/10 mins of a journey..

I don't know why they have to be so arsey about it!!

Thats cos its not logging any 'faults'. You book it in for cold start issues. They will want the car for over night so its cold, they mechanic jumps in the car, it hesistates, so then it has the cold start issue. They then load a new Map on the car (actis 7103), job done. Takes about 15-20 mins, as there are different versions of it for different ecu codes. March 08 onwards have the map pre installed from the factory. Lucky i have a mate who works at Renault, so i just drove it in and he loaded it up. No need for diagnosis ;) Tell you round town its like a different car

Well they had the car overnight last night, just had a call to say 'we can't find any faults with the car' and that the way its behaving is a characteristic of the car due strict emission laws and the nature of the engine, FFS so pissed off with that dealer chain!!

Tell the dealer to look in tech doc or tech bulletin. I can't remember which one its on, but it gives the info on poor starting and the actis solution to apply. Should now be done to all cars where the customer complains of this.
