price of 36k service at Renault Bolton, youre views

ok my car is due for its 36k service shortly, phoned renault bolton to get a price....

£570 wich i thought was a bit steep so tried haggling um' as you do lol,

the came back with £455 but this was with none genuine renault parts but are recommended by renault for cars over 3years+ and will still validate warranty, somthing like motreo they said...

Does that include the Aux/Alternator Belt ?

As i'm sure it needs changed at that mileage along with tensioner.

And Camebelt aint till 72,000 miles or 4/5 years.

Is there no other garages (Renault or not) around you that you could get prices from ?

May still work out cheaper and driving a bit further to get there and get it done including the petrol to get there

Hi guys, i just purchased a 182 with 24000 on the clock, however, i also sneakily took a 2 yr service pack from the trainee salesman-for a price of £289. I made sure that the 36000 mile service was included...they agreed in writing! Hat and ballon for meeeeeeeeee!!! :-D

i was quoted £240 for a service @ 36,000miles at Renault near ESSEX but that did not include aux belt kit which i guess will add on a lot more... say around additional £220

Aux belt kits have just gone upto £109 + VAT, plus labour of course!
