Starts and drives again. Maybe get an MOT next week if possible.

Few bits of wires to sort inside and a few silly bits overall, bonnet to paint at somepoint...

Also got a new DA from JP83 so gave that a shot on the drivers side tonight...comes up no bad [emoji106]

I DA'd it this time last year so hopefully won't take much. Given how it's been driven for the last 80,000 miles by me I think it comes up very well!

Yeah i think grey would be sound [emoji23] and yeah its all a bit rough since some pikey painted the inside [emoji849]

And i retract my previous statement about it drivng... the clutch has exploded driving into the unit. Yey for clios.

Cheers, I'm sure they are ET38 or 35...10mm spacer on the rear and 15 up front I think...Wheels may also be for sale

Thought since i was on my yearly visit to .net I'd update this thread a bit...to try keep the flame alive 🙈 we had a fun year getting out a few times when possible.
As track season was drawing to an end i decided to buy it some new running gear and attend to a few 'small' rust patches....

Heres its new powerplant from the donor car...

Turns out, After removing all the structural underseal, All they years of it being a winter car have done it no favours.... 🤢

Still had the spit from the last time i had this great ideal. What could possibly go wrong? 🤔
Id go as far as saying its the worst one i've ever came across in recent years....so might as well fix it 🙄
One side is nearly complete, Just have to trim the sill section and get it in. This might be finished one day too 👍

I dont seem to have any pics of the inners getting built up. Will grab some before the outer is finished 🙌

Will try to update as progress goes on over the next 10 or So years 🤞🤣
