Joke of a situation from a joke of a company. Finally got round to playing BFBC2 single player. It's actually pretty good.

Oddly I assumed you had to be signed in to PSN to still use iPlayer etc but it all works ok.

Glad they are trying to sort it properly, I can't imagine it's an easy job.

It'll no doubt be one specialised department. If I explained what I do in my job you would think there was a large team covering the whole of Europe but that's not the case.

I've got both too, the PS3 is utter toilet and spends most of it's time switched off gathering dust. Glorified paperweight if you ask me.

just a question...

A friend of mine is addicted to Black Ops, and he used to play the previous COD game too. His ranking was extremely high, he used to play all day, everyday.

Then, he noticed that someone ELSE was playing as him, and he couldnt log in to his PSN. He called Sony etc and Activision and both said they can not explain why its happened. In the end after days of trying to get his account back, he had to create a new PSN user ID and start all over. He lost his ranking, trophies, everything!

Does this happen often with PSN?

I'm a 360 user myself so thats why I'm asking on here.

Not very often at all, but looking at the current situation with info being stolen caused by an attack that wasn't found straight away.. it's possible people have been "hacked" before.
