Still got an intermittent throttle pedal issue which I need to sort, it goes away if I unplug and plug back in the pedal so it must be a connection thing but I can find it.

There's a common issue with the contact tracks on the pedal sensor isn't there?

Tried removal and cleaning with isopropyl alcohol?

Do you mean inside the pedal itself rather than the plugs?

I never bothered to do mine, got a couple of error codes but it still worked fine.

Few people on here have dug deeper tho, so worth searching around.

So it’s more of a general thing then rather than saying it’s going to definitely do damage ?

Long term it won't do it much good.

Everything won't have time to expand, like piston rings.

I've driven 6 miles to work everyday for the past 4 years with no issues.

The oil will be warm enough by then.

If i drive to work it's 2.5 miles and it's just about 75 degrees by the time i get there.
