£65 and they are repairing it and also repairing a crack in the brake light too :]

cheers for replies just needed to see what people thought was a fair price

it's kind of cracked in a kind of \_/ shape from when i was trying to get it out, i asked them to glue it together and spray over it so it gets rid of the crack

worth a bash as they aren't charging me any more, if it looks s**t i'll just buy a new one

aint the brake light red clear plastic? you just spraying over the light and not having it functional?

or do you mean the brake light recess on the actual spoiler?

the brake light is red plastic isn't it? it has a small crack in, so i said to glue it together and slightly smoke it so the crack disappears, the led's will still shine through

i'll post pics when it's done

Random Thread bumpage!

Any pics of the repair to the light?

He didn't glue it down like I asked him to so it was still slightly noticeable when close up, he did smoke it however which I think looks brilliant:

You can see the little crack at the top of the brake light in the centre kind of in this pic:

LOL can see the crack now! I cracked mine ever so slightly yesterday getting the brake light out :( Bottom RH corner...was prising it out all of a sudden "CRACK" :(

Was thinking of smoking mine actually

I was all excited because I'd bought a cup spoiler with brake light fitted, took it out before I took it to be sprayed and .... FUUUUUCK! :(
