why didnt you fix the cooler to the cross member? would of thought it would be a bit more secure there?, looking good tho will help keep everything in check

Mines fitted EXACTLY the same as that, the cross member has the perfect sized recess behind that lip so I used tex screws to fix it solid. Awesome car lads

We did Mallory Park with the RSOC.

28/02/09

Did Donny.

We did Donny today, Carl had a early start to drive the car down. It was a Circuitdays trackday and there was some awesome machines there.
We were both nervous about parts of the track and this could be seen in our morning outings, but what was more noticeable was the poor handleing of the car. It just would not turn in at all, with a great deal of help from Fred at BTM prefomance , we fidled around with the suspension settings and set up some front camber by eye. This improved the handleing alot in the afternoon, and with a few tips on lines and braking points from Fred we started to put in some better times.

The car made it both days with out any problems and drove back up Home (3hours ish) with no problems, did have a slight powersteering issus after Mallory though.

The car had not been set up properly on the ASTs so the front and rear were about the same stiffness, and running hardly any cmaber, the car wouldnt turn in and was understeering,

So we stiffened up the rear and added a s**t ton of camber to the front, which got it about 80% there its still not 100% but its going to BPM racing to see Matt very soon to get corner weighed and set up.

We run loads of camber on the front and rear on our rally car when we are on smooth tarmac and it just goes round corners on rails and since that’s all you track day pu55ys ever do just go round, round, round all day on smooth tarmac that would prob be a good way to start. LOL

lol know what you mean mate, that was at the begginning of the day. Made it quite fun though

Got some new brakes on order and will get the car setup on friday/saturday hopefully

lol no its a Cab Glazing tax disc (company who did the windows for us)

Few new things
- Stud Conversion
- Aluminium Anodised Nuts
- New Brembo HC discs
- New Ferodo DS2500 pads
- Track Rod ends
- Bottom Ball joints
- 15mm Spacers
- added a little more camber, getting full setup tomorrow

also noticed this, must have been those stupid apex's at donny

interior getting sorted soon, watch this space..........

the AST helper springs are fooking shite, think they're made of chocolate and syrup IIRC.

any spacers on the rears? im going to be needing some soon i think, will see what the 205 R888's look like / hit
