rb 182 on ebay, opinions please?

Come across this on ebay:

thinking of looking at it over the weekend, does anyone have any ideas what the tapping noise could be? i've had a look on the forum and everything that's suggested the guy says he has a receipt to say thats been changed.

Could be dephaser

Could be big end knackered-

treat it as the car needs an engine.

He said the depasher was changed 10k ago and it's had a top end rebuild with receipts to prove both, does that rule out those 2 posibilities?

Depends massively on where the belts/dephaser/top end rebuild were done - so ask him where.

The front bumper doesn't look quite right - and the wheel spacing is all wrong - infact the front bumper has had a respray, I think you're bang on.

Was going to say it has cup washer blanks and no xenons, oh and the little black stickers on the front bumper painted over.

Would make a nice enough track car if you get it cheap, but if you want a really tidy example I'd say that probably isnt it.

The front bumper has still been sprayed - the inserts are missing, and IIRC the washer blanks aren't usually body coloured?

Its got leather seats, look at the rear head rests.

And its got an engine cover.
