Recaro Trendlines Vs OEM 172 cup seats

Hi all

im thinking about purchasing some recaro trendlines in the new year for my clio but i was wondering is there much weight diffrence between the two sets of seats stupid question i no but im just curious as im going to try and save a bit of weight on the old girl

Not much in it to be honest mate, but id say the OEM ones are a tad lighter. Get some buckets instead.

It looks like Trendlines weigh 14kg and standard cup about 20-21kg

My trendlines weigh a fair bit more then my cup seats. They are evo ones though not trophy ones

TBH I would have thought my Trendlines weighed more than the standard Cup seats.

Weight of Trendlines taken from website selling them and Cup weight off this forum.

172 seats offer more lateral support IMO but there's not enough lumbar support for me and I used to end up with back ache.

Oh really lol to be fair the cup seats do hold you in really well better than my old 182 seats but i do get a numb ass on a half decent drive lol
