Red loveliness.....

:grinning::grinning:Finally bit the bullet and bought this little lady for a bit of fun. Got Brands Hatch booked in November (God help me with tyre choice for that :eek:penmouth:😂), and hopefully Castle Combe September.

I will also use it to reduce mileage on my regular daily.

It's a high miler @104k, but has a book full of stamps, and cambelt and dephaser were done 3 years ago.

Now I'm off to the ClioSport Club Membership thread to handover some $$:grinning:

I won't do much to start with, make sure it's solid and safe with decent tyres, poly bushes and brakes. And Fatty's Ktec induction kit alternative of course!

My daily is a BMW M135i (<runs for cover>), I'm on my second one now, but I put 28k on my first in less than 18 months so it'd be nice keep the miles down a bit on my new one.

Btw, the car computer said I got over 40mpg on my 50 mile drive home tonight, which I thought was pretty remarkable . I took it steady to be fair .

Best bet mate - will you be bringing this to ClioSport Festival? Not 100% but there may still be some track slots left!

No need to run, any M Sport beamer is a a good'un. Think a few members on here have them too.

Yeah, these are capable of 40mpg if you drive it well. Good value for money.

104k isn't high mileage. As with any car, if it's well serviced and looked after, it will go on and on.

There's cars on here that are on nearly 200k and feel better than ever (even tracked ones making more power too) as there are serviced regularly.

Looks good mate, you found a flamer in the end! What's the black bit on the rear bumper, just vinyl? And that exhaust is massive!

Thanks for the welcome everybody !

Yeah, the black bit is vinyl/wrap or something, it's embossed with 'Renaultsport' livery and appears to fit and be fitted well, so looks the genuine article. But I worry it's hiding something dreadful :grimacing:😂.

The exhaust 🙈. Its a Scorpion stainless cat back so probably worth a few dollars. I might just replace it for a 'stealth' or lift it through a cut-out in the bumper........

I'm getting a little bit sensitive about the exhaust, can you all stop mentioning it please 😂.

Talking of the exhaust, is there any flexibility in the 182 exhaust bumper surround trim? If I get one will I be able to mould it to match the exhaust diameter/circumference?

I don't think you could make anything match that size! haha.

Good to hear these reports that the mileage shouldn't be an issue

Regarding the fisting situation, I think I'm gonna need plenty of lube
