Remote Engine Start

Iv got a Clifford Viper 480XV/VX whatever it is.

£100 to fit it to my clio (Came out my 106).

£200 extra for remote engine start and the guy would have to break one of my keys to bypass something or other.

Worth it in your oppinions?

Nope don't do it they have to put the imobiliser key in the car so the alarm can disactive the imobiliser so insurance is invalid usually.
Also starting a car when your not in it is illgela on the road also the one time you do it you'll find you've left it in gear.

As edde says not worth it.

a) Key needs to be broken for Reno Imob.

b) Will invalidate any Cat 1 alarm down to a Cat 2 (insurance hate the fact they key is in car)

And yes can only be used on your driveway or off road.

Dont much fancy going from a cat1 to a cat2.

Tho the thought of walking up to my car at a cruise, clicking a button and it turning on is pretty damn cool!
