Removing The Body Kit

Due to insurance purposes, (apparently having a 19 year old driver on a modified Cat C 182 is risky) I have to remove the mods off my car, so the kit that the last owner put on is coming off. (Awaits the cheers from CS)

Started on the front splitter with a small snap off blade, to try and cut through the bonding, but its proving tough stuff to remove, and the screws on the inside of the wheel arches are mashed, anyone get any idea how I should really go about removing the lot?

Side skirts are going to be a b**ch, respray where they've been stuck to the panels

New rear bumper required as the t**t cut part of the existing bumper to fit the tail pipes.

i'm not gonna be much help but with the rear bumper, the exhaust holes can just be filled in rather than having to buy a new bumper

nah, its more of an enlarged cut out, rather than a hole, might aswell buy a new bumper and respray rather than remove the splitter, fill and respray

This is the problem, every single insurer or broker out there will not give me a quote under 3 grand, which is fair enough, I am only 19, but I've paid for the car and repairs all off my own back, just annoying that other cnuts my age give young drivers a bad name by racing and crashing lots.

id just leave them as they are tbf....buy some bumpers for the meantime and keep the skirts on :/

seems a waste to rip off all the work youve put into it...
