Renault 19 1.8 16v into Mk1 Clio

Hi,

New guy here.

Got the chance of getting a 1.8 16v renault 19 engine cheap.

Just wondered would i be able to shoehorn this into my mk1 clio, which is the 1.2 8v biarritz model

Obviously need the drive shafts, ecu and wiring loom

Will it need anything changing like the steering rack or does the lump drop straight in?

Essentially same lump as a Clio 16v. But valvers are cheap nowadays so would be less hassle just buying one of these in the first place
